PrEP is by far the more statistically safer and more reliable method for men having anal sex with men... 99% effective which is as high as you get in stats, whereas condoms, by brand have been rated as low as 85% but 95% to 97% would be average. My take is that first, you do the very basic explanation around risk and serosorting and ask him gently and frankly, does he do it raw? Because tons of guys still take raw cock cause buddy said he was neg and stigmatize PrEP users for a variety of reasons that are cultural and deeply engrained thinking the rubber somehow is safer or makes it safer which it empirically does not, just evidence that the guy is afraid which, no one should ever be to that point, its unfair and not fun... taking PrEP responsibly is you taking the very best care of yourself and your partners... so you need to really give yourself that respect and be proud of yourself. All the others transmit very well without anal or despite a condom and the most important thing is to be aware of your body, get regular check ups and if it doesnt feel right, both on his end or yours, dont do it... Do you have German or Dutch ancestry? By the picture it wouldn't be out of place... I think PrEP gives you the freedom to choose or sometimes make a mistake. Condoms help reduce STIs which really do suck but the freedom of going bare is full of pleasure.
