I forgot I still had one on when I went through security at Southampton Airport a few years back. It only occurred to me when everything and anything steel had been reomved. I whispered it to the officer and he laughed and asked me to return to the toilets to remove it. Passed through ok the second time. He mentioned that it happens a few times a month.
