El Dorado Hot Springs Update for fall 2025

Return to Discussions

El Dorado Hot Springs in Tonopah is open for the season. The owner, Matt, has retired, and his daughter has taken over. She began in September and has been working hard to get the place cleaned up and repairs made, including improvements to both cabins. They are focusing on taming the landscaping and getting two of the Private soaks back open.

The address is 41225 Indian School Rd, Tonopah, AZ. Go west on I-10 to exit 94, 411th Avenue. Go south to Indiana School, just past the gas stations and turn right (west). They are just down the road on the left. Hard to spot, signage isn't obvious. Enter the enclosure on the west side of the parking lot and check in at the table by the office. If nobody is there, ring the bell. Very small staff. They open at 9 am., everyday.

The communal area is called Desert Pete, open to all. Multiple pools and tubs. Traditionally, it has been mandatory nude. Pete also has several sun loungers for nude sunbathing and a shaded seating area. They do allow RV overnight parking, not sure the fee. In the private soaks, you can do anything you want... anything. There are showers in each area, plus a bathroom and shower room in the central area. Not sure she's taking cards, so plan on cash. Desert Pete is $25 for the first house, $25 for the second hour, and I believe that after that there's no additional charge.

The young lady is working hard to keep the business going and could use all our support to keep this nude place alive.
