Return to DiscussionsHumans have been wearing thongs for thousands of years, both men and women. I find it weird that 21st century society has decided they are purely for the fairer sex.
Im a straight male, fairly 'manly', and i LOVE the look and feel of g-strings. I like wearing something that makes me feel sexy and comfortable.
I find that those people,both male and female, who are liberated enough to wear a thong are also open and accepting of other peoples choices.
Besides, if you got it flaunt it! Lol

I agree, both thongs and G strings ( as well as jock straps) are both extremelly comfortable and supportive of those man bits to wear as well as look great.
My choice of underwear to wear to work is any one of the 3 above ( thong/Gstring/Jock strap) at home it is nude all the way.
It is a shame that the g-string for guys is not mainstream and can be quite ifficult to find an outlet that retails them other than on line particularly in reemote areas, hell where I am it is difficult to get anything sexier than the old bonds tighty whities.

Because they are not a readily available or worn item of men's clothing, so hard to purchase and an item that is often seen as only a " gay" item or worn in porno films, that most guys will not venture into trying them ( other than one of those silly elephant ear thongs sold as jokes in adult section of joke shops) yet guys love to see girls in them, butts divided by the strap.
Most gys would not realise the difference between a thong and a g-string, but all I can say is try them guys, wear them for a few hours ( does take a little while to get used to them but you will enjoy), girls get your guys hairy butts into them.
Agreed, if you buy the right thong then it is the most comfortable underwear you will ever wear, not to mention the sexiest.
Sometimes it makes a small bit of excitement on a bad day @ work...

Hmm trouble is as you get older they just don't look as good. I think you still need to be reasonably slim to wear them and look reasonable. I am not sure a piece of string betwen the cheeks is all that comfortable? but each to their own. Certainly a 25 yo Brazilian slim lithe women on a beach looks amazing so we can all apreciate that. Whereas a 60 yo guy with a paunch not so good and certainly on some aussie b eaches can be a figure of fun. It certainly is an incentive to stay in shape in order to wear one.

I admit a thong certainly looks a lot better on a body that is trim and fit be it female or male but sometimes it is not always about looks, I find them comfortable and very supportive to wear, plus the pressure of a well fitted thong or gstring on the hole can also be good lol.
Same reason I enjoy wearing a jock strap, suport by hanging bits well, lets my butt be bare and comfortable
