I started posing nude for artists to get me out of my comfort zone. I wasn't comfortable nude in front of people, especially ones I didn't know. I was very nervous the first time. It was for a group of artists that met weekly. There were 10 or more artists the first time I posed for the group. The pose schedule for this group was mostly short poses. The facilitator had me start with some 1 minute poses, then 5's and 10's. I was very nervous before I started. Besides being nude, as a male I was worried I might get aroused. Time came to start, I got into position on the model platform in the middle of the room, removed my robe and struck the first pose. My worry about being nude was soon over taken by my planning for what pose to do next. I made it through the 2 hours of posing without anything bad happening. I must have done a pretty good job, I was asked to come back and became one of the models they rotated through.
