A while back (ok, a long while back) when I was in my mid 30's, I did a lot of business up in the San Francisco Bay area. I used to stay at a Hotel on Bush (Hotel Vintage Court) and just up the street about 1/2 block was a Theater called the Nob Hill Theater. My first stay in that area, I explored after all my business appointments to discover the theater was a gay theater. Anyway, being a married guy I quickly passed by as I had this fear of mycuriositybecoming known. But I was curious. Later that evening, I went by and did look at what was playing and I could see that not only does this theater show films, but they have live stage entertainment as well, and the entertainment that night was a live wrestling match between a muscular gay man and a muscular straight guy from SF State University.
I really wanted to go in and see this match, but could not get up the nerve to go in an purchase admission. Afterward, when it was too late, I realized I passed up a great opportunity to see something I would love to see.
I made many trips to SF since, and stayed at that same Hotel many times, and always went up to the Nob Hill Theater and never again saw a wrestling match on the marquee. I did get the nerve though to go into the theater and watch the live shows ... was fun. I always regretted my passing up the opportunity to watch a sexual wrestling match.
