It depends on your personality. If you like the idea of not being able to control your urges and display your abandon, like to be dominated and used, or just get off on the surprise of it, maybe it is a good idea (I did a lot of BDSM for the first time in groups as the public aspect made me not chicken out and take more bc adrenaline but also showing off.
