Like all things IT based this turns out to be just another headache due to the fact that Kik is in all probability a non-human collection of well-defined algorithms that relies solely upon non-human intelligence. Such "intellegence " if one chooses to label it as such is less than the intelligence possesd by an insect and hence does not really understand questions, requests, etc. put to it by humans.
Getting something as simple as this would seem to be a "no brainrer" but the only "no-brainer is the collection of well-defined algorithms that constitute such an IT based app as Kik messenger. Very few non-scientist people really understand exactly what they are dealing with when it comes to such apps but even those of us with some basic theorertical knowledge of AI, cybernetics, a nd IT based apps such as Kik and how such things function are ill prepared to deal with the practical applied aspects of such apps that constitute a primative form of AI (artificial intelligence) that is based upon certain cybernetic principles that exploit highly sophisticated well-defined algorithms as is the case with Kik messenger.
I get very frustarted with such apps because I am a theory guy and not an applied science or pratical thinking type person who is probably actually better off NOT having any prior theoretical knowledge of AI/cybernetics. Classical learning theory states the case thusly: past learning interfers with present learning.

You find your ID in the only menu push the cog icon in the top left corner this will open a window push the label your account once pushed another window will open its here right there at the top your ID name etc. good luck navigating that! genius
