Return to DiscussionsI was being interviewed naked on film by this attractive pair of young girls. They asked what is the difference between a naturist and an exhibitionist. I just said they were two different kinds of nudist but on reflection it is a very good question. Isn't there an exhibitionist in all of us? We are happy to be seen naked after all.
Apparently others in the group were asked different questions. Maybe they had me down as an exhibitionist after letting them film me urinating naked at the roadside. I must admit I found it a bit erotic, especially as the two girls were naked too.
if you go by dictionary definitions exhibitionism is exclusively the idea of showing body parts not normally shown in areas where they are not normally scene... by that definition, a nude beach, locker room, private home, wouldn't be considered exhibitionism because those are places where one is normally naked. The guy in the public park, his nudity would be described as exhibitionism due to the fact that it is not common practice for people to be naked there.
That being said, there is nothing in the definition about it being sexual. Any nudist can be an exhibitionist and any exhibitionist can be a nudist, but the two don't necessarily correlate.
I agree with Billy-Blue-Eyes's definition of Exhibitionist. My exhibition side wants to be seen, but not arrested, so I am careful not to get naked in a park or anywhere that I would expect to get "caught" and then arrested! I value my reputation and my freedom and don't want to be the forced "bottom-boy" for the rest of the inmates, LOL!!
I feel like, along with the fun, horniness of being seen and seeing others, we just want some company. We don't want to be alone... We want to share our experience with each other... We aren't just horny robots, we are horny human beings.
I think that is a good thing.
