Ideas on Premature Ejaculation
I'm looking for ideas on premature ejaculation. Studies say that about 25% of men experience some version of this, cumming within a few minutes after entering. I should talk with a physician, or probably some kind of sex therapist, but I would be too embarrassed to do so just yet. My wife has not actually complained, but I don't like it. I usually orally stimulate her to orgasm and then immediately insert. I think my wife deserves more. Does anyone here have issues like this and what have you done to help with it?

Let me know what you find out. The warmth of the inside of the body on a hot erect dick brings it on for sure but how so slow it I don't know. I heard things like wearing a rubber but it doesn't work for me.
i know this is gonna sound weird . . . but when I'm sober . . . I often cum within 5 minutes of entering a lady . . . but when I drink a six pack of beer (or more) I stay hard and last for literally hours . . . my current "friends with benefits" lady sometimes tells me . . . "you'd like to wear me out!!" . . . but says it with a "come hither" smile . . . ;-)
I know is sounds cliche, but the key for me was lots of practice.
I found that if I got very close to the point of climax (but not so far that it was inevitable) and then backed off long enough to prevent it, it became easier and easier to continue. Also varying pace/angle/etc can help too. You and your partner need to be on the same page so they understand why you may be temporarily stopping.
For me, that eventually let me delay climax almost as long as I want. That is pretty key in the LS if you want to have long play sessions.
(I do find though, if I delay too long it can be harder to climax when ready).
I haven't tried the viagara, but have done the low dose cialis at times. For me its not an ed issue, its an "over thinking" issue. In new situations I sometimes let myself get to stressed worked up. I did not buy it online though. I went through my doctor and explained that I was having stress issues at times. He had no problems giving the rx. If I'm taking something I would rather have the doctor know in case there is a complication.
Good luck!
I will speak for myself, when I orgasm, it takes longer for the second one. As I get older that recharge time takes longer. So if you know you are going to be romantic you might want to JO prior. You know your own recharge time, so when you are ready, it will technically be your second orgasm and you may be able to last longer with out orgasm. Some guys stay erect after orgasm and some don't, if you stay erect you can still provide the moves. If you have problems staying erect, you can try a cockring. If the problem is after orgasm you lose interest or your partner feels let down them perhaps try JO sometime before as I have suggested.

Talk to your doctor about taking Lexapro. It's a med for anxiety. I took it during my divorce and found that it delays orgasm. I could have sex for hours without cumming. I don't take it anymore because after about 3yrs I started gaining weight. I still take a long time to cum after being off the med for a couple years.
For years I thought I came too quickly. My wife never complained,
but I always wanted to last longer. I have been very lucky that she
also cums quickly and if she wasn't finished when I came I was
able to finish her off quickly by hand or tongue. Condoms help some
and I also jack off during the week. Now she almost always cums
before me and has very intense orgasms. She doesn't like me to go
on too much longer because she is too sensitive so she will finish
me off by hand. Give it some time, relax, and don't think about it
too much. I found that when I was worried about coming too quickly,
I usually did.

a small dose of any antidepressant/anti-anxiety drug should work to delay orgasm
Anti depressants sode effect is a deley in cumming, I have always been a long lasting lover and stay hard when I cum so when prescribed anti depressants I was frustrated witht the side effect. The wife and I now are into cuckold play so I dont get fully hard and cum fast
anti depressants are difficult for an older male and probably female too.
A solution for this is, if you plan on sex the Friday night, make sure your last pill
taken on Wed night so therefore your taking a med holiday. My suggestion
is a 2 day holiday otherwise you will have difficulty sleeping and your mind
will work overtime preventing sleep.
anti depressants in my mind are horrible and they do not tell you about that
side effect when you start to take them.
that said, My doctor who works at Fords in Detroit told me that young males who
often come quickly are now taking anti-depressants in order to last longer. This works
for younger guys who often ejaculate in minutes with stimulation on the penis.
As for the anti depress. med holiday, if Friday is your target night to get intimate, you
also will be good to go for Saturday sex but will want to take a anti depress. pill Sat. night.
Any longer and those sleep issues will happen.
Another suggestion for premature ejac. Try a different position. Doing it doggie
style will likely result in prem ejac particularly when you are young. Try a different
position such as f/m. the female being on top and you laying on the bed. She does
her trusting and with you the male inside her can do occasional controlled trusting,
thinking with your eyes closed of the stars in the sky for example and more than likely
when she starts to climax, you can come hard with trusting and cum at the same time.
good luck all you people.
The suggestions for a med holiday comes from a knowledgeable psychiatrist.
