Hey Olly, Check out Utilikilts, they are solid colors or other patterns such as camo. Not your traditional kilt, but also not disrespectful, plus they have more pockets...You also reminded me about sarongs! I have 5 or 6 and wear them whenever in Thailand or in the desert. They are nice and lite, you feel naked and can still look masculine. I have seen men look hot as hell wearing a sarong! Bonus if they are playing with fire!
At a bath house once, among all the guys in their white towels was a young, beautifully built Pacific Islander guy in a sarong. He looked hot as hell in it, too. I thought of trying it, but I didn't have the legs to pull off that look the way he did.
I have a kilt and always wear it correctly (freeball) I have also worn a leather skirt (no pleats, so can't really call it a kilt) Nobody has ever given me grief about them, most just want to look and see if you are wearing it 'right'. I will note that I have only worn them with groups of very accepting people.
Love to check to see you are wearing it correctly! ;-)
I have 3 skirts, 2 of which are like kilts. I use them when walking naked because I have found they are the quickest to get on and off when I find myself in the vicinity of non-nudists. Two are denim, so from a distance look like shorts, but I don't mind if people notice what they are. Any hangups are all theirs! And of course I freeball.
