Whereby Through TS Chat

In the past if you posted a whereby address in a PM in chat TS would block you connecting. I understand as it is a violation of rules in chat to suggest going to a third party site. I just was at the sister site TN and a person offered me a Whereby address. It connected through and it was a five minute free Whereby room. Is there a change of rules? Is there a new partnership with Whereby where they can offer free trials through TS. Did I miss something while I have been gone on vacation?
