We had no audience (I think: wife wouldn't want one and I certainly wasn't checking too closely for anyone that might interrupt the moment) but being totally in the open is a great feeling, along with trotting into the surf to clean off after the event.

I couldn't agree more. There's that wild, exuberant "letting go" feeling with being outdoors and making love.
