Never had any issues. Even those who says its shafting. Never experienced that. Tho ugh, if you purchased cheap Asian denim, sawing strings may be really stiff and can be a discomfort.
No underwear in jeans, denim short shorts, etc Feel way better.
I prefer gym shorts or scrubs where I can be naked under. I would probably prefer a kilt but that would be strange as I have no history of kilt wearing and I would hate to be accused of cultural appropriation (that is sarcasm, BTW). I do not wear any zippered clothing anywhere near my favoite body parts!
I go commando under most shorts, sweats and some other loose fitting pants. But denim can be a little rough on the boys, especially if I'm doing physically active work (gardening, outdoor maintenance, etc). Boxer briefs are my go-to. Support, no chafing at the groin,
