Where the sun does not shine

I've seen it said that, for a man, the most intimate pic is one ofhim bent over showing his anus - where the sun does not shine. Of course the pic will show the rear view of balls and maybe the cock. So which is it - anus or genitals?
I actually think a rear looks nicer when he, or she, is stood upright.
