Austrian Spa

It's refreshing how nudity is required in an Austrian spa. Anyone in swimwear, or any clothing, is asked to leave. And we sit naked amongst nude strangers (bot sexes) with no hint of a sexual threat. That is nudity as it should be.

Yes - I love it. When working in Berlin my wife and I used to go to the Therma Europa which was wonderful. An indoor/outdoor rooftop pool and many different steam rooms. All ages, genders, shapes and sizes - all naked, free and happy. One time in Moscow I was staying in a hotel and didn't know the pool etiquette. I was by myself so decided to swim nude. Another delegate arrived, saw me, and did the same. Then we had a friendly naked sauna afterwards. I later learned that it was definitely not a naked pool or sauna - but hey ho.

Yes, the nordic culture is way more open to nudity as a normal thing. The latin blood people are more into exhibitionism and voyeurism. Feel way more relax way going into spas in Germany or other nordic countries.

In US, my god, they have a true issue with nudity. It is offending only because you have been told so.
I hate when a guy is wearing his underwear in a sauna (while he's gay and observing other one's dick). It's so disgusting.

I would love to find more places to go naked in US.
