Hilton head area

OK so I am now posting an update on Mitchellville beach off of Hilton head. Due to recent years storms, the little Creek that you find on Google Earth no longer exists. When you walk out the trail to the beach and turn left the entire beach is continuous for a good half to 3/4 of a mile. At low tide there is a very large sand flat between the main high tide water line and the low tide. Looking at Google Earth you see 2 boardwalks leading out to the beach from the wooded area. There is one with a round roof Which I did not notice while walking along the beach, and 1 with a square roof. I am currently sitting just past the square roofed boardwalk. It does not appear that anyone he uses it but this seems to be the best spot to get away from people in both directions. This also gives you enough time to cover up.

Yeah, definitely nothing to do ng on Hilton head island itself, but that Mitchellville area....same thing. Not worth the druve way down there.

I would suggest Hunting island state park instead.

GF Just got off a Lee phone with hunting island state park and asked about thongs being allowedbbn at the southern end of the beach down by the dead boneyard of trees.

She contacted the head of the Rangers office and the answer was no they are not allowed.

Now the question is if we really want to chance it or not and if we are seen or caught, just play stupid.
