Hitchhiking February

Hello everyone,
I'm planning to make a trip in February, 2019, in France, the north-eastern part, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
I'm really curious if I'll be able to reach all these countries. I will be leaving from Metz.
If anyone has some tips for hitchhiking in these countries, please tell me, and if anyone wants to join me raise your hands up!
Also looking for hosts if possible.
I will come back with more details in January.
