Some clubs will let you be naked in the locker room sauna & steam... Some say you must wear shorts... but the members can still be tolerant if you are not wearing anything. ... They can be less tolerant if you are showing a hard erection... unless they have one, too. ;-)

I last went there in 1980s
It was too late for nude swimming, but still had a men only nude sauna at the time.
I had a great night there one time,
Do they still have the nude sauna?

Is it creepy or perversion that I get hard on seeing the feet of the guy in the shower next to mine just where the lower section of the wall allows for that interaction? At the YMCA in Vancouver.

It's not creepy that you find bare feet a turn on, we all have those idiosyncracies. And why not imagine the naked soapy man attached to them while you shower?. It would be a bad idea to display that boner in the locker room though.

I said, above, that some can be tolerant of nudity, in spite of club rules... but some let you know that they are NOT. However, I have had only one... ok, maybe a few, complaints during the last year or so, in the sauna, and none in the shower or locker room. I might cover up when employees or children are present, but otherwise not so much... Towel dancing can be really ackward. Should we feel like it is really necessary in a locker room?

I never understand why anyone would be offended to nudity in a locker room. You should be able to walk, sit, or stand nude all you want in there. I try to be nude in locker rooms as much as I can no matter who is around. If they don't like it, they don't have to look...or they can leave. The towel is for drying off and that is it.

Tower dancing! The only towel dancing shouldve done by a guy who is afraid of showing his body and NOBODY should be afraid of that

I 400% agree!!! I wonder the needed-to-cover-up is an American thing. I have never seen that in Canada and the UK. The Y I go to in Canada has a regular changing room and a PLUS changing room (the PLUS one you need to pay a bit more). Kids are not allowed in the PLUS side (I think more to avoid the disturbance of them running and screaming). Most people are fully naked in the sauna/steam rooms, in the whirlpool, when having a shower, and walking around. I think this is what it should be!!! What I don't like is when some guys shave their pubic hair in the steam room! That's just my opinion. Of course, some may say, why not?!?
