Swim briefs for men

Sometimes we can't be nude and even a string or a thong is too revealing, whether for the comfort of others or ourselves. While the women enjoy a wide choice of what to wear, for men to even wear a swim brief (or Speedo, who presumably popularised them) can be a little bit in a sea of boardshorts.

Bit even briefs can vary in cut, coverage and opacity. What have you found to wear?

Today I experimented with a cheap Temu brief. It's a thin nylon-lycra blend and , although fit could be better and surf totally defeats its ability to stay in place, it wasn't too bad. The fabric is a little sheer when wet.

Another cheap Temu one. Better constructed than the red and the full front seam gives a great profile. Despite the print being on a white background they stay totally opaque, although when leaving the water they really do cling and intimately reveal the shapes beneath. Lifting the waistband to let a little air in quickly eliminates that if desired, otherwise the effect soon disappears. Better in the rough surf than the red ones but still get moved around at the sides and rear. Confident wearing this one practically anywhere, whereas the red suit doesn't make that grade.

Love my cappuccino Skinz tanga - quite small, very thin and feels great.
