While I like a little thin mesh thong when beach wear is compulsory but, for comfort, I prefer lightweight shorts.

Totally true for sure, that's why I have enjoyed the BunnG thong so much, great enjoyment to wear,,,,and for sure it's skimpy, and better to wear if smooth is enjoyed,,,,

By playfulcouple2022When I used to go to the beach, I preferred to be completely nude. But I couldn't do that because it was illegal. A thong swimsuit could have gotten me arrested too. Instead, I would wear a skimpy swimsuit that covered me okay except when I got aroused.
I don't think thongs are illegal here as the legal definition only refers to exposing the genitals or the anus (is a string okay as long as one doesn't bend over?) but a man in a thong is very rare - perhaps only on the edgiest textile beaches and definitely not the suburban family ones. And my wife doesn't like them.
Perhaps I should just wear them more often especially with their recent surge in popularity for females.

The beach that I used to go to was very conservative. A 19-year-old girl was arrested because her thong swimsuit was too revealing. I could get away with wearing my skimpy swimsuit because it didn't show my genitals or ass. It was legal but still risqu for that beach. The one suit consisted of a thin terrycloth material and had no liner. It covered me okay when I was flaccid, but I had to be careful who was around if I had an erection. This was even more so after I came out of the water because the thin material would cling to me when it was wet.
