I love cutoff short shorts (underbutt) - what about legality wearing this?

I guess we can call this maybe crossdressing. IN the past, let's say 20 years ago, I was wearing these so called shorts that were going below the knees. This was the trend at this time. Growing up, I had short shorts. But group influence, I didn't liked it at some point.

Today, the shorter it is the better. I regularly wear short shorts showing more than half my tights.
I think lot of people see the 1-2 inch inseam short shorts as feminine today, while it was the norm in the 60's, maybe up to the 80's.
Even crop tops were being on straight guys back then.

I got some denim short shorts that I cutoff, just below the back pocket. If I am pulling it down, it's covering my whole butt. When in Miami, I do this to get out of the hotel, but once on the street, I was placing it a regular height, which shows about 1-2cm of butt cheeks.

Many indecent exposure laws includes buttocks in the list of body parts exposed.
What is exactly considered buttocks for indecent exposure ?

Last time in Miami, I saw a girl, I would say fairly big butt, but she had a smooth skin, and was actually pretty, standing in front of a CVS store, and basically a denim thong. I honestly loved seeing that.

I live in Colorado, and would love wearing my short shorts more often, but afraid of law enforcement.

You who are crossdressing, what is your view on this ?
